Exclusive Collection is a family-owned collection of hotels and the UK’s first B Corp accredited hotel group.

Situated in countryside locations, our historic properties play an important cultural, economic, and societal role. We’re guardians of each location’s heritage and see our guests, delegates, and their events as ways of enabling environmental and social impact.

Founded 40 years ago, we’ve led the charge in the hospitality sector; winning the Campaign Experience Awards for Most Sustainable Business, AA Eco Friendly Hotel Group, a Catey for Sustainability and our MD, Danny, has a Lifetime Achievement Award for Sustainability.

We’re committed to bringing purpose to our business and have amended our Articles of Association to showcase measurable, annual actions and outcomes across the pillars of: • Reduce, reuse, recycle • Positive supply chain impact • Local community engagement • Diversity, equity, and inclusion • Carbon Positive by 2026

We’re signed up to the Hoteliers’ Charter and partner with event:decision and through our campaign ‘It’s the little things’ we champion ideas from our 900+ team on minimising our impact. We also encourage the team’s involvement in initiatives like local litter picking and tree planting to increase carbon sequestration and biodiversity. We promote sustainability at industry events and are an employer of choice with a 91% NPS score. Our 2-year long Chefs’ Academy has just celebrated 10 years with 114 graduates, 40% of whom are female. 55 people remain in our business. We donate 2% of profits to charity, and last year gave £108,511 to our nominated charities and we redistributed 14,510 meals amongst our 7 hotels’ regional communities. We continuously seek to improve, lighten our environmental impact, educate, and amplify to our guests and teams that business can be purposeful and used as a force for good.
