Identity

In the summer of 2024, Identity and our client came together to create and deliver an exciting one-day festival for employees in the heart of London. Our client is a renowned advisory firm with strong social and environmental values, and we created an event to deliver on their values, while providing an amazing staff event to make people feel appreciated and more connected.

Over the course of the day and the evening, 1500 guests were treated to a carnival of activity and surprises to inspire celebration and togetherness. The itinerary included wonderfully varied food and drink options and entertainment ranging from circus classes to demos and workshops, live bands and dance, with Samba, Bollywood dancing, drumming, and Capoeira.

Sustainability was at the heart of our design and delivery. Our approach was twofold – to deliver excellently on fundamentals in a way that enabled our client to deepen their engagement. And to act as an enabler for organisations and suppliers doing great work in this area.

Throughout, our winning formula was picking suppliers aligned with our client’s values and in total we were able to support c.15 companies and community groups. We acted as a platform to herald the great work being done by social benefit organisations, making connections, introducing people, and bringing the event to life in a great and green way.

As a result of our approach, we developed a blueprint of valuable take outs to help all event providers make the most sustainable decisions at the right point in the event planning cycle and with insights to further develop our approach to sustainability.
